I`ve supported Cambridge City FC since 1983. I was born in Manchester and moved with my family to Cambridge in 1980. I also support Manchester City but I consider the Lilywhites to be my team. Amongst the highlights at Milton Road for me are the cupties against Dagenham and Hereford in 1993, Slough in 1999 , and the mid eighties team which won the Southern League 1st Division title. The current team are, I believe, about to make a major breakthrough under new manager Gary Roberts. Hopefully, with the addition of some quality new signings, City will no longer be annual strugglers in the Dr Martens League Premier division. There is now a much happier atmosphere at Milton Road after previous managers have promised much but delivered little to the City fans. Next season I will be looking to the team being consistantly in the top ten.
